Please, use this arabic word for artist name, it means "servant" (it can be written in latin alphabet : Khadim), in my head, it means "at service of The music, with all sacred links incoming with it"
OMRI, means "my life" in hebrew,
my life is music
my music is omri
Why Hebrew ? This word has resonated in my head, without knowing it before, I just googled word "Omri", and I learned what does it mean and from which language it came.
About conception of this album, it was particular for my side, my hand was guided all along, and particularly when I programmed drums on my computer, I said that because as someone said, these drums, or at least mine, are not binary, closed to a sort of "free electro", rythmic patterns were changed often, very often, with no real loopables moments, and my deejaying software didn't recognised original bpm, so my hand was completely guided. It's a bit hard to explain, but, personnally I trust in an almighty power, or "god", no importance the name you gives to He/She, and I trust too in an invisible world, with ancestors spirits, natural spirits, sacred of our wild nature, it can be good and protective spirits, it can be evil spirits, that's my beliefs, and that's a mystical part of this album. Excepted my own musical works, as you can read in track names, it's clearly collaborative.
On 8 tracks, 7 are featured with musicians friends. I want to greatly thank them all, and tell to them that I loved did this style of collaborative album, and I took personnally as a great honor their presence and their gifts of ideas, concentration, and time they used for working their parts of this great musical album.
Thank you, love and much
