Au commencement de ce très généreux projet, il y'a eu une envie commune, initiée par l'artiste protéiforme Philippe Neau, d'associer l'entité Innocent but Guilty, (avec qui il forme le projet Stalsk) et le producteur de talent, Grosso Gadgetto, afin de se réapproprier quelques-uns des sons gracieusement mis à leur disposition par "l'alchimiste Villeurbannais". De cette synergie est né Moontain, union alchimique entre lune et montagne, immersion totale et sans aucune retenue, dans l'imaginaire des trois artistes, associant tour à tour, dark ambient des plus sombre, field recording savamment saupoudrés et chaleureuse electronica trip-hopienne. La montagne fut haute à gravir avant d'aller pouvoir tutoyer l'astre lunaire, et long autant qu'ardu fut le chemin, mais le jeu en valait assurément la chandelle. Nous espérons, qu'à notre suite, vous apprécierez de le prendre à vôtre tour...

At the beginning of this very generous project, there was a common desire, initiated by the protean artist Philippe Neau, to associate the entity Innocent but Guilty, (with whom he formed the Stalsk project) and the talented producer , Grosso Gadgetto, in order to reclaim some of the sounds graciously made available to them by "the alchemist of Villeurbanne". From this synergy was born Moontain, alchemical union between moon and mountain, total immersion and without any restraint, in the imagination of the three artists, associating in turn, dark ambient of the darkest, skilfully sprinkled field recording and warm trip-hopian electronica . The mountain was high to climb before going to be able to touch the lunar star, and long as arduous was the way, but the game was certainly worth the candle. We hope that, following us, you will enjoy taking it your turn...
